The Bharat Scouts and Guides, District Nainital inaugurated a two-day Introductory Course at Lakes International School, Bhimtal. On this occasion, the school principal, Mr. S. S. Negi, was welcomed with a ceremonial scarf. He highlighted that along with academics, co-curricular activities such as Scouting and Guiding are equally important for the overall development of students….
On the first day, participants were introduced to flag procedure, the history of the Scout and Guide Movement, prayer, flag-song, Scout/Guide promise, Scout/Guide uniform, pratham sopan knots, and the progressive stages from Pravesh to the Rashtrapati Award.
Mr. Narendra Sah, President of Bharat Scouts and Guides, District Nainital, was also present and welcomed the students into the Scouting Movement.
Around 170 students from nine schools of Bhimtal and Bhowali participated enthusiastically in the camp.
